A new disease biomarker is found by progress of proteomics technology in recent years, and a check of a disease and contribution to treatment are expected. On the other hand, there is comment of low reliability about specification of the clinical condition compared with blood, but the urine as analytical sample is at an advantage. There were a lot of unclear points about a protein ingredient in the urine related to a disease, but a proteome analysis of a protein in the urine for disease biomarker search was performed using LC-MS/MS. When database search did the amino-acid sequence MS/MS spectrum of urine origin peptide piece solution gave, some kinds of candidate proteins besides serum albumin were identified. The optimization of the measuring specification was needed, but the distinction of protein in the urine using the technique of LC -MS/MS was possible than this research result. Because there was also a protein by which the difference is admitted by health and disease urine, a possibility that those will be to blame for various diseases and be a biomarker with the function was also considered. Establishment of determination of the biomarker candidate is tried, together, a relation with a disease was considered.
