先端質量分析技術によるGas Biologyの創成と医学への応用

Gas responsive receptors have been identified by advanced mass spectrometry combined with chemical biology. H2S-generating cystathionine beta-synthase (CBS) is CO-sensitive enzyme that regulates microvascular tone of neurovascular units. On the other hand, PGRMC1 forms heme-stacking homodimer that dissociates with CO. The dimer interacts with EGF receptor and cytochrome P450s and thereby stimulate cancer proliferation and chemoresistance.
