イメージング質量分析を用いたGM2蓄積症モデルマウス脳内におけるGM2およびGA2の可視化

Distribution of ganglioside species, GM2 and GA2, in a brain of gangliosidosis model mouse were analyzed using imaging mass spectrometry. Accumulation of GM2 (36:1) and GA2 (36:1) were successfully revealed. Their distributions associated with the anatomical structure of cerebellum and hippocampus proposed that the accumulation plays a key to pathology of gangliosidoses.
