Matrix - assisted laser desorption ionization (MALDI)-Imaging Mass spectrometry (IMS) is a powerful tool for biomarker discovery and histopathological research. However it is not sufficient and satisfied result in terms of protein spatial information acquiring by direct analysis of on-tissue digested tissue section. we are introducing “ImageID” spatial proteomics workflow that combined spatial peptide imaging information with routine identification of protein. It can be applied to fresh freeze tissues and also fixed tissues like FFPE tissue section.
