Mass spectrometry data in GlyCosmos

The GlyCosmos Portal is a Web portal allowing users to search for any data regarding glycans, or carbohydrate sugar chains. In addition to the integrated Data Resources section, an essential portion of this portal is the Repositories section, which consists of GlyTouCan, the glycan structure repository, and GlycoPOST, the mass spectrometry repository for glycomics. Glycomics data are reported based on the MIRAGE guidelines, which have been recently updated to guide researchers when reporting their glycomics experiments. MIRAGE delineates the minimum reporting guidelines for mass spectrometry data that includes glycans. This also pertains to glycoproteomics.
