遠隔自動採取連続質量分析システムの性能評価と市販飲料分析への応用

In general, mass spectrometry by electrospray ionization (ESI) method requires manual and time-consuming sample preparation. So, there is an increasing demand for automated measurement and remote control to reduce the burden of the routine works in the university laboratories and companies. In our laboratory, we have developed a mass spectrometry system that can automatically extract components from a sample located remotely and ionize the components without pretreatment by combining a sheath flow probe electrospray ionization (sfPESI) method and a tabletop 3-axis robot. When commercial beverages from different companies were consecutively mass analyzed by this system, the beverages from two companies were clearly identified without cross contamination.
