衝突誘起解離法を用いたα-pinene酸化体のプロトン付加分子の官能基解析

α-Pinene, one of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), is the most abundant monoterpenes emitted from forests. VOC forms secondary organic aerosols (SOA) through oxidation reaction with ozone (O3), hydroxyl radicals, and NO3 radicals in the atmosphere. SOA affects the radiative balance of the atmosphere. Although potential of SOA formation is known to depend on property of functional groups of monoterpene oxidation products, few of structures of the oxidation products have been identified. Therefore, the process of SOA formation has not yet been solved. In this study, we investigated structure of the oxidation products of α-pinene by using an atmospheric pressure corona discharge ionization (APCDI) in positive-ion mode and collision-induced dissociation (CID). Based on the CID results, we estimate the relationship between functional groups of the oxidation products and fragmentation patterns. We apply this relationship to the analysis of the functional groups of actual α-pinene oxidation products.
