多孔質TiCセラミックスを基盤としたジチオカーバメート系殺菌剤のSALDI/TOF/MSによる検出

Dithiocarbamate fungicides (DTCs) has been widely used as pesticides for vegetable and fruit all over the world. The analysis of DTCs is difficult because of their low solubility for water and organic solvents, and there are little examples to detect directly and individually DTCs before now.
In this study, we selected Ferbam, Zineb, and Mancozeb from DTCs and measured their mass spectra by SALDI/TOF/MS using the porous TiC ceramic powder as a substrate. A DTC (10 mg) was mixed with the porous TiC powder (100 mg) in a mortar. The obtained powder was attached to an ITO glass plate using carbon double-stick tape. The glass plate was set on the sample stage and measured by SALDI/MS.
All DTCs were individually detected in the positive or negative ion mode by the present method. In the case of Ferbam, the ion detached a dithiocarbamate ligand was detected in positive ion mode. For Zineb and Mancozeb, ions detached a proton from the ligand were detected in the negative ion mode. The mechanisms of these ionization are discussed. We discuss the utility of this method for the environmental analysis for DTCs.
