Highly Sensitive Detection of Olanzapine Using Matrix-Enhanced Surface-Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization Mass Spectrometry with Zirconium Film
Matrix-enhanced surface-assisted laser desorption/ionization (ME-SALDI) was applied to the mass spectrometry imaging of section samples of mouse liver homogenates with olanzapine. The preparation of depositing an organic matrix by sublimation after Zr sputtering for ME-SALDI gave high ion intensity of olanzapine in mouse liver sections. The result indicates that this is an effective pretreatment method for biological samples used for MS.
