Quantification of Monochloropropanediol Monoesters by Normal-Phase LC-MS/MS Analysis
The qualification and quantification of monochloropropanediol (MCPD) monoesters were achieved by normal phase liquid chromatography utilizing C60 column coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MSMS). MCPD monoesters which have fatty acyl group were separated without overlap prior to MS/MS within 15 min and were accurately quantified. Moreover, even peak-overlapped 3-MCPD-monoesters in chromatogram could be also quantified applying multiple reaction monitoring (MRM).
