This lunch on seminar introduces two innovative technologies from Agilent.
Agilent released new 6546 LC/Q-TOF for optimum analysis of small molecules. The improved hardware and newly added software functions don’t only improve the resolution of Q-TOF detection, but also maintain its dynamic range and isotope distribution. For example, more than 30,000 of resolution was achieved among the range of m/z 130-200, a most of biotic/xenobiotic chemicals they are required to give higher resolution because of the significant interference were involved in. The new software also gives function of data independent acquisition which called Q-RAI (Quadrupole-Resolved All Ions) to give lower interference of off-target molecules.
Beside the instrumental development, software support for efficient data processing comes more and more important for research specific objectives. In this seminar, we will introduce our latest informatics tools for food authenticity, suspect screening for pesticides and lipidomics.
Agilent also released the deactivator for liquid chromatography to reduce the chemical interactions between the liquid chromatography flow path and the analytes. Application examples are introduced at this seminar.
