At the early stages of drug development, quantitative analysis is generally carried out for metabolic stability. However, qualitative metabolite characterization is also useful to accelerate compound optimization by structure modification. In this study, NADPH and UDPGA were simultaneously added in liver microsomal reaction mixture, and we confirmed the presence of glucuronide simultaneously with the quantification of the compound using high-resolution mass spectrometry. We discussed the possibility of a quantitative and qualitative simultaneous evaluation system of liver microsomes.
