Application of Crystalline Sponge Laser Desorption Ionization to Halogenated Indoles
We have demonstrated laser desorption ionization for the molecules encapsulated in the crystalline sponge (CS). CS method made it possible to determine the presence of interaction between the CS framework and analyte, as well as the detailed structure of the analyte. In this study, we introduced the halogenated indoles into the CS, and both X-ray and MS approach were applied to discuss their molecular structure determination.
