Automatic Sampling Mass Spectrometry of Different Samples Using the Sheath-Flow Probe Electrospray Ion Source

Sheath-flow probe electrospray ionization (sf-PESI) is found to be applicable to liquid and dry samples and also to remote-sampling mass spectrometry. In this study, multiple liquid samples filled in the wells placed on the 2-axis stage were automatically sampled with sf-PESI device and mass analyzed. Each sample gave characteristic mass spectrum with little carry-over.
