Improvement of the Ion Suppression by the Ion Pair Reagent Using the Desalination Tube
Because improvement of the retention, I often add the ion pair reagent in a mobile phase solvent for HPLC analyses. However, I am known to suppress the ionization of the analyte because acidity is too high in the ion pair reagent. Therefore we developed a method to improve ionization by converting the ion pair reagent into weak acid using ion-exchange resin.
