Because the derivatization of peptides needs a long reaction time on-line derivatization just before the analysis is difficult. In order to solve the problems, the accelerated derivatization in charged liquid droplets has been attracted attention by mass spectrometry. We investigated the accelerated derivatization of peptides in tapping-mode scanning probe electrospray ionization (t-SPESI).
