In this study, we have developed our in-house cryo-cell for the cryo-biochemical samples. Temperature of the sample can be cooled down to -30℃ by circulating the ethylene glycol. Based on our laser ablation test, amount of laser induced sample particles was severely dependent upon laser focusing and the temperature of the samples. This suggests, careful control for the surface temperature of the sample is highly desired for the quantitative elemental imaging. In this presentation, we will present the effect of the sample temperature onto the quantitation results of the analytes.
