The data quality of time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometer on exact mass accuracy, sensitivity and wider dynamic range has been improved by innovative technology development. The technologies mean various parts configured a TOF-MS system such as multi-plate high energy field pusher, reflectron grid and magnetic field convergence detector. It is concerned with electronics progress i.e. improvement of the data acquisition speed of detector. Waters MS system development target is “Engineered Simplicity” mean to merge easy to use and high performance. Xevo series ion source has been optimized for speed of UPLC technique. StepWave is ion transportation technology and it can been balanced the performance to disagree with the robustness and toughness against sample pollution and the ion-feed efficiency. The optimization of “Cone voltage” is needless without depending on analytes, and optimization of the voltage became needless. It is important whether higher additive value results such as chemical structural elucidation were reported in a shorter time with UNIFI software solution. In addition, the announcement planned new product information in American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS) will be introduced.
