Thermodynamic Measurement of Oxides of Platinum Group Metals by Mass Spectrometry
A large amount of platinum group metals (PGMs) are used in automobile catalyst. It is important to recover the metals from wasted catalyst. Some new recycling processes which contain treatment of platinum group metals oxides are reported. To design the process, the thermodynamic information of platinum group metals oxides is necessary. However, these data is limited. Then, the measurement of the thermodynamic properties of the platinum group metals oxides by mass spectrometry are tried in this study.
