Kendrick mass defect analysis of fluorinated carboxylic acid
We report the usefulness of Kendrick mass defect plot for selective separation and structural analysis of fluorinated carboxylic acid. Fluorinated carboxylic acid were selectively isolated from their hydrocarbon counterparts and regularly arranged according to their chain length in the plot. An efficient structural analysis of the fluorinated carboxylic acid was achieved by using effective positional information in the plot.
