pH-Dependency of Anionic Surfactant Analysis in DARTMS
Relative peak intensity of alkyl carboxylate for alkyl sulfate known as anionic surfactants was changed depending on pH of their mix solution in DARTMS. Under low pH conditions, alkyl sulfate was detected with high sensitivity. Under high pH conditions, alkyl carbohylate was observed as a base peak.
