Spatial Resolution of Mass Spectrometry Imaging using Tapping-mode Scanning Probe Electrospray Ionization with a Nanosized Pipette

Tapping-mode scanning probe electrospray ionization (t-SPESI) was examined to improve spatial resolution of mass spectrometry imaging using a nanosized pipette. The t-SPESI scan trajectory was observed approximately 6 μm for a model film of rhodamine B.
