Migration time correction by utilizing peak group information in CE-MS metabolomics
In capillary electrophoresis-mass spectrometry based metabolomics, migration time is often shifted between each analysis of samples, and accuracy of peak alignment becomes worse. Some internal standard compounds have been most commonly used to correct migration time in CE-MS metabolomics. In this study, we proposed a migration time correction approach without using internal standard compounds. By using peak group information derived from same metabolite (e.g. molecular ion, isotopolog ion and protonated molecule), we can perform migration time correction as same performance as with using internal standards.
