Recent development of mass spectrometry technologies brings ultimate high sensitivity and high throughput, and higher performance of mass spectrometer accelerates the full-scale use of mass spectrometer in clinical laboratory. On the other hand, manual-handling sample preparation is one of the bottle neck of over-all works, and it is concerning that the manual-handling processes become one of the cause fatal mistakes in clinical data management ex., misidentification of samples.
We developed fully automated sample preparation module for LC-MS/MS, SCLAM-2000, on the basis of the technology from our extensive experience with clinical examination systems for blood coagulation analysis.
LCMS and SCLAM-2000 binding system is able to minimize human error and variability in sample pretreatment procedures and reduce risk of infection.
