Standard Operating Procedure for Imaging Mass Spectrometry in Medical and Pharmaceutical applications
Imaging mass spectrometry in pharmaceutical and medical application requires standard operation procedure (SOP) to maintain reproducibility. Although IMS technique is established as a novel analytical methodology, there are a lot of barriers to establish the SOP. To obtain the SOP, adequate samples to evaluate each procedure are required. In this presentation, the known problems to establish the SOP will be summarized and discussed.
