Recent Developments and Future Perspective in On-site Mass Spectrometry
Recently, various types of ambient ionization methods, such as a desorption electrospray ionization (DESI) or a direct analysis in real time (DART), and a lot of miniature or portable mass spectrometers have been developed for on-site mass analysis in various fields. In this lecture, I will review the recent developments and describe the future perspective in on-site mass spectrometry.
