Conformation Change of Ubiquitin Ion in Gas Phase Caused by Proton Transfer Reaction

Because a biomolecule in vivo has lots of interactions with other biomolecules and water, it is difficult to analyze its feature in the solution. So in this experiment, multiply-protonated ubiquitin ions were isolated. Temperature dependence of proton transfer reaction between ubiquitin and target molecules were measured to analyze behavior of ubiquitin in gas phase.
