We have been developing "Ion Trap Mobility Measurement System". By using the system fine particles are trapped for more than 2 hours with monitoring the structural changes. However, the detection sensitivity and flexibility are limited by the image detection system. Here we show a newly developed multi-stage ion trap mobility measurement system with optical detection. The system consists of a stacked ring ion guide type multi-stage ion trap, optical fibers. The charged particle was detected by photo detectors to monitor its movement and to elucidate its mobility. The flexibility and the possibility of the multi-stage ion trap ion mobility system with multiple-position optical detection will be discussed.
