Analysis of O-linked glycans in recombinant POMGnT1
Protein O-mannose β-1,2-N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase 1 (POMGnT1) catalyzes the addition of N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) to O-linked mannose (Man) to give GlcNAcβ1-2Manα-Ser/Thr. To investigate the glycan structure and modification site of POMGnT1, we analyzed the tryptic peptides of POMGnT1 by LC-MALDI-TOF/TOF system and detected the glycopeptides containing mucin-type O-linked glycan.
