UV-Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (UV-MALDI-MS) is used for analysis of bio-molecules and artificial polymers. Unfortunately the success of detection of analyte ions and optimization of the analysis were sometimes complicated when MALDI analysis of the derivatives have not been studied since the desorption/ionization process has not been revealed enough. I present a hypothesis of desorption of MALDI named ultra-rapid ballochory hypothesis (URBH). On the present hypothesis, the analyte molecules and/or ions and are sprigged out from samples before sample sublimation. The driving force of desorption of analyte molecules and/or ions is strain generated from change of electronic clouds and/or products of matrix molecules within sub picosecond after the laser photon absorbing. In contrast the most of heat formed by laser via organic photochemical process is delayed in over 100 picoseconds after the laser photon absorbing. On the presentation I will propose concrete method of proof of the hypothesis, too
