Nowadays, biopharmaceuticals, especially antibody drugs, have large market on the all over the world. In the development of antibody drugs, it becomes the important topics to decide epitope, paratope quickly Epitope is binding sites of antigen and paratope is the binding site of antibody. Identifying epitope and paratope is necessary because antibody activity depends on epitope and identifying paratope contribute to make high affinity antibody.
In this meeting, we will introduce the method to identify epitope and paratope by HDX-MS at one time, as a model case, cytochrome c and E8 antibody was used.
