Observation of Perfluoropolyether coated on glass by using Imaging LDI Mass Spectrometer

Perfluoropolyether(PFPE) is used as a coating material for glass surface of smartphone’s display. Molecular structure of PFPE was measured by using laser desorption ionization to prevent fragmentation. Distribution of PFPE molecules coated on glass was also observed by imaging mass spectrometry.
