Structural analysis of silicone compound by TEOS decomposition GC/MS method

The silicone is used in many industries because it can obtain various features by changing the substituent, the structure, and molecular weight. But it is difficult to analyze the detailed structure of the modified silicone with only NMR and FT-IR. Tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) decomposition GC/MS method is the effective analysis technique of the modified silicone. We reported the application scope with the substituent of TEOS decomposition GC/MS method before. This time, I examined composition analysis method and reaction conditions to perform more detailed structural analysis by this method.
