In recent years, several synthetic designers drugs have been newly found one after another from illegal drug products and become a serious problem. One of the undesirable problem is that uncontrolled analogous compounds appear one after another, shortly after some compounds have controlled and disappeared from the market. These new analogues were sometimes regioisomers of the illegal drugs, and the differentiation of these isomers are required in the analytical laboratories. In this study, characterization by mass spectrometry of compounds in the illegal drug products, which were purchased from 2012 to 2014 in Osaka prefecture are shown.
