河川水中溶存有機物の高度浄水処理における消長の精密質量分析計を用いた評価
River water contains a variety of dissolved organic matter (DOM) and some of them remain in drinking water or become precursors of disinfection by-products in water purification processes. Recently, the invention and application of high-resolution mass spectrometry have made it possible to analyze DOM composition in environmental water at molecular level. In this study, the change of DOM composition during the advanced drinking water purification process was analyzed by Orbitrap mass spectrometry. The DOM composition in the pristine water collected upstream of the river was also analyzed. Ozonation and biological activated carbon filtration process removed 35 % of anthropogenic DOM components. The further research, such as MS/MS analysis, is needed to reveal the structures of DOM components that remained after water purification process.
