大気圧 MALDI-MS によるぺプチド分解の新展開

Generally, MALDI is considered to be a soft ionization method capable of obtaining molecular weight information of a sample with minimum fragmentation. It is thought that less fragmentation occurs in Atmospheric Pressure (AP) MALDI-MS. However, a lot of a-, b- and d-series ions were generated from Angiotensin II (DRVYIHPF) mixed with a small amount of CHCA matrix under less than 10m laser spot size conditions using iMScope, an AP-MALDI instrument.
