MALDI-TOFMSを用いた植物のイメージング
Imaging mass spectrometry (IMS) of plant leaf was performed using the MALDI. Although imaging mass spectrometry is applied in various fields, optimal surface treatment still remains as a challenge in plant physiology. In this study, the optimal surface treatment for imaging mass spectrometry of the plant leaf was investigated. The mass spectra obtained by the treatment with a razor and a sand paper gave complementary information. The accurate distribution of the analyte was hindered by the matrix, while the IMS data obtained without matrix gave more accurate distribution of the analyte.
