Imaging MS Analysis of the Potential of Coenzyme Q10 for Radioprotection Effect

Interestingly, the mice that is ingested Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinol) survived after irradiation of radioactive ray. We analyzed the localization of ubiquinol in the sections of mice brain by matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) imaging mass spectrometry (IMS) to evaluate the effect of dietary ubiquinol and related compounds composition in mice brain.
