Clarify of Cancer Drug Resistance Mechanism by Metabolic Profile Time Resolved Analysis
A metabolic response of the human breast cancer cell line (MCF-7) against a υtreatment of paclitaxcel, an antimitotic agent, was investigated by the metabolic profiling analysis using GC-MS. The results showed that the levels pyruvate and phosphoenolpyruvate decreased and increased at 3 h, respectively, suggesting an inhibition of pyruvate kinase after the paclitaxcel treatment.
