Real-Time Qualification and Quantification of Biogenic Volatile Organic Compounds
To measure isoprene and monoterpene emissions from plants, Proton Transfer Reaction-Mass Spectrometry (PTR-MS) can be applied. In this presentation, advantage and disadvantage of PTR-MS measurement are described. The importance of additional GC-MS measurement is emphasized to obtain correct data of the emission rate of plants.
