Studies on Oligomers Formed in the Heating Process of TDP/DART-MS Measurements
Thermal desorption and pyrolysis/direct analysis in real time-mass spectrometry (TDP/DART-MS) is an useful technique for the characterization of polymer samples. The TDP/DART mass spectra of polymers are composed of volatile oligomers and oligomeric pyrolysis products. In this study, we have investigated the formation behavior of oligomeric compounds formed in the heating process using depolymerizable polymers such as polystyrene, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) and poly (α-methylstyrene).
