高分解能多重周回質量分析計を用いたブタン予混合燃焼炎の直接分析

Butane is known to be the main component of liquefied petroleum gas and is widely used as a fuel. The elementary mechanistic reactions that occur during premixed butane combustion have been investigated through computer simulations. However, there are relatively few experimental mass spectrometric studies that supplement these computer simulations due to the technical challenges of combustion product sampling from within the premixed butane flame. In this study, we used a high resolution multi-turn mass spectrometer fitted with a simple sampling tube to investigate and identify all of the combustion products found within a butane flame (optimized and diffuse) under atmospheric conditions. Additionally, these products were monitored to trace their intensity distributions within the butane flames.
