レーザーポストイオン化SNMSを用いたpresolar SiCの同位体分析
For unveiling nucleosynthesis during stellar evolution, in-situ isotopic analyses of presolar grains have made important roles. Then, we have been developing a new mass spectrometer, Secondary Neutrals Mass Spectrometer (SNMS) with a femto-second laser. Post-ionization technique using laser system attains higher secondary ion yields by more than 10000 times compared with those of no laser system. Moreover by leading sputtered secondary ions into Multi-Turn Time of Flight Mass Spectrometer (MULTUM), we have succeeded high mass-resolution isotopic analysis of multi elements at the same time. Using this method, we have been exploring isotopic ratios of terrestrial SiCs and/or presolar SiCs recovered from Murchison meteorite. At the conference, we'll discuss on our recent progresses.
