イオンクロマトグラフィー高分解能質量分析による陰イオン性代謝物プロファイリング手法の開発
Essential metabolic pathways to maintain biological activities include glycolysis, pentose phosphate pathway, and tricarboxylic acid cycle. Almost all intermediates of these metabolic pathways are sugar phosphates, organic acids, and cofactors such as ATP, NAD(P), and NAD(P)H. Therefore, a profiling for these anionic metabolites provides valuable insight towards understanding the different biochemical profiles of a biosystem.
In the present study, we established a high-sensitive and robust method that enables the comprehensive analysis of anionic metabolites using ion chromatography coupled to a high-performance benchtop quadrupole Orbitrap mass spectrometry (IC/Q Exactive) and an automated library-based compounds identification. The developed analytical system is a potentially useful tool in the field of life science, medical, and pharmaceutical research.
