原子量不確かさ把握のための高精度同位体分析技術の開発と地球化学への応用展開
One of the major research fields in inorganic mass spectrometry is accurate determination of isotopic abundance of the elements. Precise and accurate isotopic abundance of elements through isotope ratio analysis is originally determined to estimate atomic weights of the elements. Their natural isotopic variation is also estimated to evaluate uncertainty of their atomic weights. Small isotopic variation in nature is recently observed in heavy elements owing to several technical developments. In this presentation, advances in this field will be outlined, and geochemical applications of the small isotopic differences as proxies will be introduced as well as detection of long-lived radioactive nuclides by mass spectrometry.
