LC-MS/MSによるポリエーテル共重合体の構造解析
The detailed structures of surfactant polyoxyethylene(EO)-polyoxypropylene(PO)-alkylether (AEP) were studied by LC-MS/MS. At first the AEP copolymers with different end groups and the different number of EO and PO were able to be well-separated based on the polarity and m/z using LC-MS. Next, alkyl end groups of AEP were identified from MS/MS fragments involving the end groups, and thus the number of EO and PO were determined from m/z values. Moreover difference in the spectral pattern of MS/MS fragment ions was able to distinguish the structure of block and random sequences.
