ペプチド負イオンフラグメンテーションの精密質量解析
The negative ion fragmentation of a 13-residue model peptide was investigated by high resolution tandem mass spectrometry at low-energy CID conditions. Fragmentation pathways of the deprotonated peptide were elucidated in detail with an aid of high resolution CID spectra of a deuterium-labeled reference peptide. This approach was found promising to assess the involvement of enolate anions in fragmentation of deprotonated peptides, which are reported to govern the backbone cleavage of deprotonated peptides under CID.
